Another classic performance from my fellow minstrel and good friend Ian. Alan Hull was a local lad from our neck of the woods in North East England and fronted the band Lindisfarne who formed in 1968 had massive success in the early 70’s with the album Fog On The Tyne, before splitting up in 1973. Alan went on to release some solo albums before his untimely death from heart disease in 1995 aged 50.
